Tillman Surrenders Nine Runs in Loss to Yankees

Chris Tillman will make his eighth start of the season, hoping to avoid his fifth consecutive defeat.
Tillman was awful in his previous start, surrendering nine runs in 1.1 innings to the Yankees,
and was tagged with another loss. The 6-foot-5 right-hander has not been sharp this season,
possessing a terrible 8.01 ERA and a 2.08 WHIP to go with a 1-4 record in 30.1 innings pitched.
He took on the White Sox back in early May and was solid, tossing five scoreless innings,
and now features a 4-2 record with a 3.05 ERA in seven career starts against Chicago.

I am siding with the Orioles in this contest. Holberg features a terrible 5.29 career ERA,
and the Orioles are very dangerous against left-handed pitching,
ranking third in all of baseball with 86 RBI’s against lefties,
so they should put some crooked numbers on the board.
Also, Tillman features a solid 3.05 career ERA against the White Sox,
plus he tossed five shutout innings against them earlier this season,
so I am confident the Orioles are the play in this one.
