여성 상대 AED 사용 지침이 변경된 이유

미국 심장협회 지침 개정을 그대로 도입한것인데


The need to apply pads or paddles directly to the bare chest may be a contributing factor to the observations that females experience significantly lower rates of public access defibrillation compared to males. The option to adjust rather than remove a bra could mitigate factors such as discomfort with exposing a woman’s chest or fear of accusations of inappropriate touching or ㅅㅅual assault.

공공장소에서 심정지 환자가 발생했을때 여성이 남성에 비해 제세동 처치를 받는 비율이 현저히 낮으며

그 원인을 여성의 가슴을 노출시켜야한다는 부담감, 성범죄 혐의를 받게되는 두려움으로 꼽고 있는듯

속옷을 벗기지 않으면 이러한 요인을 완화시킬수 있으니 그렇게 해서라도 AED쓰라는 의도인듯



아니 브래지어 입은채 AED 쓰면 안되는거 아니었음?

그래도 주변인들이 제세동기 안써줘서 죽는거보단 나으니까 그렇게 해서라도 써라 인듯
